Karalee Glore, MA

Pre-Licensed Therapist

My Background

Born into a broken home to teen parents, I grew up trying to make sense of my story. I observed other people’s lives, trying to figure out what they did well and what they did not. My childhood journey created a natural empathy and sensitivity that caused strangers and loved ones to feel safe sharing their stories with me. As a result, I developed a heart for listening and a presence that people find comforting, enabling them to express themselves honestly and openly. As I grew and matured, so did my compassion, understanding, and empathy, which led me to the counseling field. As an adult, I left behind a previous career to work with adults, couples, and families navigating life struggles. Why? Because I am a firm believer that people often have inner resources that can help them on their journey – they just haven’t discovered them yet. Are you feeling disconnected in your marriage? I get that. Are you stuck in family conflict? I get that too. Let my personal and professional experiences bring new hope to yours.

My Education And Approach

I graduated from Kennesaw State University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. Go Owls! And I earned my master’s in clinical Mental Health Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently in the licensing process under the supervision and direction of Christie Poole, LMFT. My style of therapy can be direct but softened with humor and lightheartedness when you need it most. Clients tell me this makes me approachable and relatable.

The Role Of Faith In My Practice

I accepted Christ at a young age. I remember so clearly how loved and cherished I felt in that moment. To feel loved amidst the chaos – who could ever forget that? Since then, when I’ve strayed or grown weary in my quest for God, He’s remained there for me. Steady. Sure. He is why my faith is important to me. Prayer and scriptures are where I seek wisdom and discernment. However, not everyone shares my faith. I understand that and will honor your position if that is you. Whether or not we share the same spiritual views, I hope to be an example of compassion and hope. That is what He has given me, and it’s what I offer you.

Who I Help

As a wife and mom of two teenagers, I feel particularly equipped to work with couples, families, and adults. Psalm 68:6 says that God sets the lonely in families. But oddly, families and marriages can feel lonely, too. When we get caught in cycles of conflict that leave us more disconnected, that hurts. It is a privilege to help families find joy again. Couples who want to close the painful gap that separates them? Frankly, it’s my passion. And adults trapped in anxiety and depression? Hear me say, you don’t have to struggle alone. Wherever you are spiritually, personally, or relationally, let me help you. Give me a call at 678.631.7639 line 1; I’ll be glad to chat for 15 minutes to see if we are a good fit.
